RTP — Documentaries
& Live Television
At RTP, I worked across two very different formats: literary documentaries and live television. As camera operator and gaffer, I collaborated on long-form documentary projects focused on major figures of Portuguese literature, where precision, atmosphere, and respect for the subject were essential. As assistant producer on Prós e Contras, one of Portugal’s longest-running live debate shows, I worked behind the scenes in a high-pressure broadcast environment, coordinating guests, teams, and logistics in real time. Together, these experiences shaped the way I work under pressure, with responsibility, and as part of large editorial teams.

Maria Gabriela Llansol
— Literary Documentary (RTP)
A documentary exploring the life and work of one of the most original voices in contemporary Portuguese literature. Filmed with a cinematic approach that blends interviews, readings, and archival material, the project required careful lighting and composition to support a poetic, theatre-like structure without breaking its intimacy.
A Secreta Harmonia do Mundo
— Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão Documentary
A documentary feature film focused on the life and legacy of Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, a central figure of Portuguese poetry and theatre. The film balances literary depth with visual rigor, translating complex ideas into a calm and precise visual language that respects both the author and the text.
Prós e Contras —
Live Debate Television
One of Portugal’s longest-running and most influential live television debate shows, hosted by Fátima Campos Ferreira. Working as assistant producer, I coordinated guests, logistics, and backstage communication in a fast-paced live broadcast environment, supporting directors, producers, and technical teams while operating under real-time pressure.
